  1. Marcy Says:

Just finished listening to your 3rd episode. I am enjoying your podcast and look forward to future episodes.

Thanks for the great gift ideas. As a new-ish knitter I need all the help I can get. :-)

  2. Sarah Says:

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I listened and enjoyed hearing the top 10 list. Great work!

  3. Grace Says:

Great episode! I’m thinking about some holiday gift ideas now, thank you for the ideas.

Also, I like how you were able to reference the comments link/phone numbers and blog/web addresses within context of the show. It was much smoother this episode.

  4. Anna Says:

Just wanted to say thanks for playing my voice mail! How exciting! I haven’t finished this weeks podcast but what a surprise to hear my own voice while I was getting ready this morning! Keep up the good work - Also, a question, any good quick crochet sock patterns out there?? I’m not opposed to books either (being a Librarian and all…) Thanks for the help!
    Anna, From Cincinnati

  5. Sarah Says:

I love all of the episodes you’ve done thus far and really enjoyed hearing your “Top Ten List” I look forward to casting on one (okay, maybe three) of the projects in upcoming days. :)
Do you have any favorite knitting books? There are so many out there and it is hard to find one that has easy to read and knit patterns.
    Thanks!

  6. YarnCraft Says:

Thanks to everyone for listening and commenting!

Anna, thanks for calling! A quick crochet sock pattern that we have on our site is called Joan’s Socks. You can also check out our book, Just Socks, which has great knit and crochet sock patterns, from lace socks to slippers.

Sarah, we have lots of knitting books we like! Check out our newsletter archive or subscribe to our newsletter to see our book features!

  7. Tama Says:

Thanks for using my story on this episode. I am very honored that you liked it enough to use it on here. The podcasts are great and I have enjoyed them. I am looking forward to the next one with Stephanie! I love her books.

  8. Diane Says:

Enjoyed the podcast very much! I would like to add a felted bag or purse as another suggestion for a gift. Felting creates a really different look for those people who don’t really like the look of knitted or crocheted things.

I’m looking forward to your next podcast.

  9. Denise Says:

    Congrats on the new podcast!
The subject matter is great! The guests have been phenomenal!
Having just come back from a blogging convention, and taking classes on the podcasting track.. I have one suggestion. Record your podcast in a room lined with yarn! Seriously, it sounds alot like you all are in a tin can. So hey what better to prevent echoing than yarn!??
    Looking forward to more!

  10. Pam Says:

Oh my! I found your podcast through the Lion Brand Yarn email that I receive. I’ve never really listened to podcasts before–I was so excited to find out that I could listen and still do other stuff on my computer! I wish you guys had a new episode every day.

Anyway, I had pretty much given up knitting Christmas gifts, but I think that after hearing your episode, I’ll reconsider. I don’t have to knit the big ol’ gigantic things, I could knit something quick like bath items or a hat.

Thanks for doing the podcast. Wish I could listen to people talking about knitting 24/7!

  11. Nadine Says:

I really enjoy the podcasts, I wish they were weekly! Episode #3 was particularly interesting, I love the to 10 gift idea list. I took advantage of the suggestions and started the “Learn to Cable Scarf” and do I love it! It’s a nice challenge for a beginner like me, the yarn is absolutely wonderful and the instructions clear and easy to follow. This scarf will make a great gift for my father in Canada. Thank you!!

  12. Krista Says:

Is there a way for me to download your podcasts without installing a podcatching program?

    Thanks for any assistance.

  13. Kimberly Says:

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that yet another international knitter is listening to you! Great podcast! Is there any way to download your podcast so I can listen while I run? Thanks!!
    Greetings from Germany,
    Kimberly
