Thank you Zontee! I think I’ll try out those suggestions while trying to also move the container closer to my work rather than keep it on the floor. Chloe (my cat) loves to sit next to me and bite about 6 inches down from my hook. Sometimes I don’t see her until I pull the wet yarn around my fingers!

I think she sees the moving yarn as some type of sport. I love her dearly and I think she feels the same way about my yarn. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!

Hi Sarah,

Definitely an idea to include in a future episode! In the meantime, here are a couple quick ideas: You could put your yarn in a zip-up case (like the kind that bedsheets come in), so that it’s protected. Another idea is to put your yarn in an empty (and cleaned!) coffee can. If you punch a hole in the lid, you can feed the yarn through the hole, and then voila! Instant yarn holder! Hope that helps!

Today I had the time to actually listen to the podcast and I have to say it was totally awesome! To actually listen to one of my most favorite hobbies is incredible. Actually, this is the first time I’ve ever tuned in to a podcast; it took awhile for me to get into the newest technology. (slow learner, huh?) You guys were very interesting and kept my interest the entire time. The interview with Kate Jacobs was perfect and now I can’t wait to start her book!
Again, kudos to you and I’ll be tuning in as often as I can. Thank you!

I enjoyed the content of the podcast, but i agree with sashak2p2 that the mm-hm was distracting, but it was annoying enough for me to feel the need to say, If I heard another podcast with that much of it, I would turn it off and unsubscribe. It was only my wanting to hear what Kate Jacobs had to say that kept me listening.

I’ve enjoyed all of the podcats. I listen to them while crocheting. I enjoy hearing what you and your guests are working on. In my opinion, the sound quality of podcasts is getting better each time — less backgound noise.

I was disappointed with the last podcast. When there is nothing to look at, only listen to, my ears become very intuned to what is being said. I had a hard time concentrating on what Kate Jacobs was saying because of all the mm-hm. That is distracting (and a bit annoying). There was also a lot of talking over each other.

I enjoyed listening to the January 28, 2008 blog. But, like many of my fellow crocheters, I can’t help but feel a bit miffed at the heavy focus on knitting to the exclusion of crochet. Even though the interviewer did mention crocheting and sewing in passing, it was knitting which took center stage (yet again).
