Because of the soft, lofty way that Homespun is spun, it does fray relatively easily. You may want to check out this Instructables slideshow in which the maker crochets a faux fringe instead. Hope that helps!

Any suggestions on what to do to keep homespun from fraying out. I had a terrible time making a blanket with it. There is not way you could use it as fringe.

Hi Cathy,

You can actually search for YarnCraft on iTunes (use the search bar at the top, right corner). When you see the individual podcast page, it should list all of the episodes underneath the show description, which will allow you to download older episodes individually.

Also, you may be getting an error because you don’t have an audio player on your computer set to automatically open files. Therefore, you may want to right-click the “Direct Download” link (Ctrl+click on Macs) and select the “Save As” option to choose where to save it on your computer. Then open the file directly from your computer once it is downloaded. Depending on your connection speed, this may take anywhere from a few seconds to several hours.

When I click on download to get a copy of the podcast, I don’t get anything but an error page telling me explorer is unable to open the page. I have downloaded itunes and have yarncraft subscribed there, but I can’t get any of the older podcasts. Any suggestions? Thanks Cathy
