I’ve been listening to you guys from the start, and I love that the longer the podcast continues the more comfortable the two of your sound. The most interesting parts are always when you offer spur of the moment comments and feed off of what each other says.

Thanks for the tip on deciding how much of a substitute yarn to buy based on yardage. I’ve often wondered whether yardage or weight was a better guide.

Hi. I enjoy surfing through your site and i have printed so many of the patterns becoz they are really nice n cute. However, since i am in India, its tough for me to get the yarns that you specify in the patterns. How can i get them if i really wanna work on the patterns u have listed?

Thanks for all the wonderful tips and great pattern ideas to view! A special thank you for talking about substituting yarns - I often want to pick other colors for patterns. I also like the textures and color nuances created by combining yarns. You mentioned that 2 strands of #4 weight yarns equals 1 strand of #6 weight yarns. Do you know of a chart you can direct me to that gives other weight combination equivalents?

- Two strands of category #1 = one strand of category #2
- Two strands of category #2 = one strand of category #4

I have just started using itunes and ipod. Your podcast was the first I subscribed to after seeing it in the Lion Brand Newsletter in my e-mail. I have been loading on previous podcasts as I enjoy them so much. I am going to play them for the ladies I quilt with because most of them also knit and/or crochet but they do not use the internet. Thank you for providing great information and ideas!
