I'm a fan of Barbie and I recently purchased a copy of Nicky Epsteins Knitting for Barbie book (LOVE IT).

I don't like the Bratz dolls either, but I just learned that they aren't made by Mattel... they are made by MGA. They were designed when their creator was working for Mattel and thus there is a huge copyright ingringement lawsuit going on.
Supposedly the Bratz dolls days are numbered (collectors take note)!

Lucky for Barbie fans, there are some affordable new vintage reproduction dolls coming out in the coming months. I would love to see the Barbie Couture book one of these days Nicky!

I'm feeling really inspired to do some stash busting and make toys for sale for charity. The sardines would get eaten by my dogs so they are not for my home but, with a little catnip in each one, will be sold for Cats Protection, a large UK charity.

Thanks for coming on my Dog walks, Liz and Zontee!

This was my first podcast. I really enjoyed it. I can't find the pattern for the tunisian crochet lion afghan, though. I love tunisian crochet! I'm making afghans and sock monkeys for Christmas. I haven't decided what else yet.

Great episode, When I listen to you I like to crochet and have tea. Great job, Liz & Zontee. The Christmas gifts I'm working on are a granny square afghan, a lot of prayer shawls, comfort shawls, and even place mats and coasters. I have long list, but I feel I don't have much time. I love the crochet toy idea, especially for my little neice and nephews. Thanks for a great show. :)

What a great podcast! I am a crocheter and I often need something to boost my taste for a new project.
This was just the ticket.

I live in Australia, but most of my family and friends are in the US. I was intending to make scarves, hats, etc for everyone this year, but overseas postage is insanely expensive - it can almost double the cost of the item.

To keep shipping costs down this year, I am crocheting bookmarks for most people on my list. For any of the non-readers, I am crocheting snowflake Christmas ornaments for them. Because both of these items are thin, flat and light, and can enclose them in their Christmas cards, thus not incurring any additional postage costs.

Love the podcast! Thanks :)

Hi! Just wanted to say I really really loved this podcast. The interview was really great and listening to your breakdown of the various techniques was really hepful, and has enticed me to give entrelac and filet crochet a go.

There are sooo many toys that I'd love to make, and thanks to you I have found the perfect lion pattern! :) That and the best bunny are both going on my christmas presents list.

The problem with chrismas present is that I would like to make so many that it is hard to fit in a big project like a sweater for my other half. So I'm thinking of making a lot of knitted cable bracelets and knitted tree ornaments as I've been seeing a lot of these in shops.
