Hi Amy,

Actually blocking is for all projects. Here are some basics from the ladies at Knitting Daily: Part 1 and Part 2. There are a ton of other great tutorials out there, but like we mentioned, Maggie Righetti's Crocheting in Plain English has some great blocking advice (and general post-finishing care advice too). Hope that helps!

love the podcast! on episode 31, you discussed blocking. i have been crocheting for years but I've never really heard much of this technique. i searched the FAQ at lionbrand.com but the only reference i could find was in regards to felting. is blocking only used when felting? or is it a technique that can be used for all crochet and knit projects?
