The YarnCraft girls bring you to the Mall of America for all the excitement at this year’s Knit-Out & Crochet event! Thousands of knitters, crocheters, and yarncrafters flooded the largest mall in America for a weekend of fun, learning, and even some competition.
We interview Mary Colluci of the Craft Yarn Council of America, the industry group that puts on this event about the various fashion shows — pets, kids and teens, and fashion. We talk to groups like the Machine Knitters Guild of Minnesota that hosted a booth at the event, listeners like Becky and Mary Lee, and members of the Lion Brand team who worked behind the scenes and taught demos.
Listen in for a taste of the happenings — and maybe we’ll see you next year!
Yarns discussed include Homespun, Recycled Cotton, and LB Collection Wool Stainless Steel.
Patterns mentioned include:
- Claudette Scarf
- Painted Ruffle Scarf
- Painted Circle Scarf

Stash This: Ideas for Your Crafting Life — Liz and Zontee share tips for knit and crochet lace. Find out about lifelines, stitch counters, and why blocking is your friend when it comes to lace. For more information on blocking, listen to Episode 15 and Episode 31.
