In this episode of YarnCraft, we take some time to thank all the moms (grandmothers, aunts, godmothers, and so many more great women) in the world — for their influence on our lives and our yarncrafting. We share great stories from the listeners and LionBrand.com, as well as some fantastic gift projects for that special woman in your life.
But before we get into our celebration of wonderful women, Liz and Zontee share what’s on their hooks and needles, and they also check in with the Lion Brand Yarn Studio to see what people are working on there.

We were given a crocheted afghan made by a friend of my parents. It was large enough for a queen sized bed. We’re married 38 years and it still is here and I still love it. When my son got engaged I made them an afghan, not quite as big out of homespun. It is still around and soft. It is truly a wonderful gift to give or receive as a newly wed or newly engaged couple.

I’m sorry to send this to you, but I can’t figure out where else to sent it. I can’t get through the customer support line - and I can’t submit the problem via the website because it keeps telling me I need to enter a “topic” but there is no place to enter a topic. I love your podcast and hope you will send this on to the correct department for me.
I am having trouble downloading patterns from the Lion Brand web site. I have been successful in the past - in fact I just started having problems a couple of weeks ago. I can find the pattern I want in the pattern finder, but get the following error msg when I try to download:
Safari can’t open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “https://www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/register.fcgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lionbrand.com%2Fpatterns%2F80862AD.html%3FnoImages%3D0%26r%3D1%26r%3D1%26r%3D1%26r%3D1%26r%3D1%26r%3D1%26r%3D1%26r%3D1”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
I’m using a MacBook pro with OS version 10.4.11
Zontee says: Hi Mary, I’ve forwarded your question to our webmaster. In the future, please note that you can always e-mail our Customer Service department at support@lionbrand.com — hope this gets resolved! Thanks for your kind words.
