This is the second of our shorter-format podcasts for the summer, designed to be the perfect length for yarncrafters on the go.

We love getting questions from our listeners, so when Ann-Marie in South Africa asked for trendy, contemporary baby patterns, we knew what we had to do.

On today’s episode of YarnCraft, Liz & Zontee take a look at the world of babies and ways to inject some fun and whimsy into your baby-yarncrafting.

Find out what colors will stimulate your child and the best easy-care yarns for on-the-go parents.

Patterns discussed include:

Because of our shorter-format podcasts for the summer, this week we bring you two interviews from the world’s largest DIY festival, Maker Faire, in lieu of our regular Stash This: Ideas for Your Crafting Life segment. Join us as we speak with Stefanie Bryant of Handknit Heroes and Moxie & Brookelynn Morris, felt artists extraordinaires. AND click here for Feltique Brookelynn’s new book.

To share your comments and thoughts, post a message on the blog, email to yarncraft [at] lionbrand [dot] com! In two weeks, join us for another episode of YarnCraft, when we’ll be talking about turning your yarncrafting into a business. Have questions or tips? Share them and you may be in our next episode!

    Hi,
As usual I enjoyed the information and inspiration in your podcast. I’ve looked forward to the podcast every two weeks from the beginning and have gained hundreds of great ideas and hours of pleasure listening to the two of you plus your guests.
I’m guessing you’re interested in getting feedback on your new format. Even though it doesn’t address my interests, I think the Summer Crafting for Children is a great idea and fills a real need. I have to say, however, that I’m sad the Yarn Craft episodes are shorter and I miss the longer format. I know you can’t do everything but I thought I just let you know how one listener feels as you evaluate your formatting. Thank you for all the work, thought and creativity you put into the podcast.
    Happy crafting,
    Margaret

Zontee says: Hi Margaret, thanks for the feedback and the kind words! We always appreciate getting the thoughts of our listeners.
