YarnCraft - Summer Crafting with Kids 06 :: Tips & Tricks from Kids and Their Parents, Plus Back to School Projects

On the 6th and final episode of Summer Crafting with Kids, we catch up with some kids at the Knit & Crochet Show, who were making friendship bracelets with crochet and finger-weaving: Zach, Cassetta, and Katy tell us what they enjoy crafting. Check out Cassetta’s website for more crocheting with kids. We also talk to Getting Loopy’s Mary Beth Temple and her daughter Katy about their experiences crafting together. My son Zach wanted all to know that those “scarfy-things” he mentioned in your podcast are boas. They are made holding two strands of Lion Brand’s Fun Fur together and then woven on the fingers to desired length. By mixing and matching colors, the boas are a quick and easy project to make.

I blogged about their boa-ing fun here.

It was great seeing you @ the Conference in Buffalo!
