In the interest of sharing my love for Vanna’s Choice and all LB yarns AND pet projects, I’d like to share my latest in VC, it’s my dog Cricket in the pattern called Dogosaurus Rex. On Ravelry, see it by clicking here.

Hi — I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your podcast, and let you know that you helped me solve a holiday dilemma. I’ve been trying to crochet something for my teenage niece, but I couldn’t think of anything “cool” enough. Now I think I’ll make her one of your shrugs — probably the “simple shrug” to keep things to my skill (and patience) level!
Now, do you have any suggestions for her pre-teen little brother?
I’m thinking maybe a beanie…
Thanks again!
Pam

Hi Pam,
A beanie is definitely a classic gift. You may also want to check out these skateboarder-style fingerless gloves. They’re perfect for guys.
