    Liz & Zontee – I discovered your podcasts a couple of months ago, and I think I have finally caught up and listened to them all now. It will be hard to wait two weeks for the next one.

    I’ve been inspired to try new things this year, partially due to listening to you. I will learn how to manage the dpns and do some felting. I’ve started to try cables and some fancier patterns. I’ve knitted off and on for forever, but I’ve become a bit compulsive over the last year or so.

    You have a fun and highly informative podcast. Well worth listening to, except for one highly annoying fact…
    Are you aware how often you say, “Definately”???
    It severely detracts from your podcast.

    HI Liz and Zontee
    I have been enjoying your podcast for a year or so and I heard Liz comment a couple of weeks ago that there may be listeners in the southern hemisphere, she didn’t sound convinced. Just wanted to let you know that we had 44 deg Celcius here in Sydney Australia 2 weeks ago (Approx 118F) and I was still able to knit!! I have learned a little about our knitting habits from listening to you and looking at the Lion Brand site. I realised that our staple winter yarn weight is 8ply (DK) for a reason….we just don’t get the snow and below 0 temps that a lot of US states get (not complaining!) Summer knitting, if done at all ,is cotton or a 5ply (not sure of the equivalent) OF course there is everything else in between too. ANyway just wanted to tell you you are a global phenomenon…..as to the last comment, we don’t mind the “definately”s and the “exactly”s and the “absolutely”s my sons (8 and 11 yrs) just count how many each episode and see which one was used the most!!

    I like the “recycled” heart crochet motif idea. I have a beloved cardigan that is wearing thin at the elbows. I think I might crochet some heart patches to cover them out of the collection dk superwash merino.

    Love Love Love YarnCraft! Each episode provides lots of information and inspiration. I like to listen to it and click on the mentioned pattern. I get lots of ideas and tips. I know this is old now, but I really did love the summer series on teaching kids to yarn craft. It really helped me when I was teaching my daughter to crochet. Keep up the good work!
