Liz & Zontee help you cope with the cold with quick & easy projects sure to warm you right up. From clothes and accessories to cozy home projects, they’ve got 10 different kinds of projects that you may want to consider this winter season.

But first, the ladies of YarnCraft take a few minutes to answer questions from listeners like you, covering topics from recommended podcasts to color repeats in variegated yarns.

Patterns discussed include:

We also introduce our new mini-series “Insider Outlooks for 2011,” featuring interviews with industry insiders from the National Needlearts Association’s winter show, which took place in early January. This week’s episode features friend of YarnCraft, Mary Beth Temple of Getting Loopy, as well as Kimberly Reynolds (aka somebunnyslove) of XRX/Knitter’s Magazine. Find out about trends for 2011 and fun things coming to a yarn/craft store near you!

And on “Stash This: Ideas for Your Crafting Life,” we talk about skill levels in patterns and what they indicate — all because of a great listener question. Have a question of your own? Scroll down for more info on how to share it!

Join us again in two weeks, when we talk about topics from entrelac to Valentine’s projects. Plus, as always, we’d love to hear bout what YOU’RE working on. Share your thoughts! I love winter crafting! That said, I do have to admit to my new love affair with the Knit Picks Podcast. Kelly has such a passion for knitting that it rubs off on you. I’ve honestly never heard of someone using a hot water bottle for warmth until recently so I’m going to have to get one so I can knit a cozy for it. Cheers!

Ladies, I just found out about your podcast. Thanks for the information. I am a crocheter and I have been making tons of quick neck warmers, cowls, ear warmers and scarves over the past few weeks.

I can’t wait to try the Lion Brand Quick and Cozy yarn… I’ve been enjoying making neck warmers with the Homespun yarn.

I sent you a friend request…atpeace62 on Ravelry. I will keep listening.
