Post-Hurricane Sandy Update: Thank You for Your Well Wishes

Hi all, Zontee here. We’ve received many messages of support and good thoughts from YarnCraft listeners, so I just wanted to give everyone an update. As you may have noticed from, our offices in both NJ and NY are currently still without power as are the homes of many of our staff, and we appreciate all of your concern during this very difficult period.

Myself, Michelle, Liz, and families are just fine.

Due to the storm, however, we will have to postpone our next episode. We’ll keep you posted!

In the meantime, please consider donating food, supplies, time, and/or money to relief efforts. I’m planning on spending some time volunteering this weekend in NYC, and hope you will find a way to help those affected by the storm too.

As a New York/New Jersey-based company, this devastating event has affected us quite a bit, and our hearts go out to all of those in need. Thank you again for all of your good thoughts and support during this period–we truly appreciate it.

    We are thinking of you from dry/arid New Mexico.  I really enjoy your informative podcast and am sending good wishes that you are soon back to normal.  We have family that live in Port Chester and know as of today 11/4 they were still without electricity.  You are in our thoughts!

    It’s good to know you are all safe.  Hopefully things will quickly return to normal while everyone will be in my thoughts and prayers.

    Here’s hoping that things quickly return to normal.  It’s hard to know how to help in the most effective way–just heard a criticism of Red Cross.  Apparently, they are nowhere to be seen in some areas.  If you have good ideas on how to best help, please let us know.
